Hello,

I’m Riddhi, an illustrator and entrepreneur, based in the vibrant coastal city of Chennai, India. I spent most of my early years sketching in the margins of my notebooks (and occasionally paying attention). As a daydreamer and shy introvert at heart, I’ve always found comfort in layering colours and textures, and creating whimsical characters and realms. My work blends hand-painted elements with digital detail, resulting in artwork that feels both vibrant and tactile. Much of my inspiration comes from South Indian and Far Eastern cultures, shaped by my upbringing in Chennai and Thanjavur.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from Stella Maris College and a Master’s in Fashion Management from NIFT Chennai. Somewhere along the way, I decided to turn my doodles into a full-fledged business, which led me to create Odd Trunk—a brand that brings my illustrations to life as whimsical home décor, souvenirs, and stationery.
